Ponte Vecchio: the only bridge not bombed during the Second World War
I was born in Prato and today I live in Scandicci. I have always loved working as a barman. I come from a hotel training, a training course by AIBES (Italian Association of Barmen and Supporters) and I have had many experiences in Italy and abroad in various nightclubs, bars, pubs, hotels and resorts in Egypt, Russia, London and Dublin.
The hospitality world is my passion. I love to mix spirits and liqueurs with new products and possibly of the territory, to obtain harmonious and excellent cocktails that make feel guests enveloping and memorable sensory experience. If required, I like to make suggestions to guests on what to drink. In particular, the next guest of the Hotel Brunelleschi I would suggest trying a Gin Martini with local brandy.
The favourite part of my job is surely the contact with the public. There is no better job to interact with people. When the guest arrives at the bar, I always hope that he would relax and savour his stay and the cocktail that I am serving, in addition to the extraordinary location of the Hotel Brunelleschi.
I really appreciate the suggestive location where I have work every day and in particular the fascinating history of the Byzantine Tower Pagliazza. The Hotel Brunelleschi is a place like no other, you just look around: its ancient walls, carefully restored recall us every day how is special to work in a place like this, unique in the world!
I really like to provide an attentive service of quality and the first thing I do when I get to work is control the “mise en place” so that everything would be ready and in order at the arrival of the guests.
I always hope that guests will remember their stay at the Brunelleschi as an experience among the most pleasant and that they will notice the passion that the staff puts in their work to provide a high standard but especially the friendliness and professionalism.
However, outside the work I really like to spend my free time with my family. I like to live the home environment and in my spare time I prefer being in the company of loved ones.
