The exhibition The Chariot of St John the Baptist in Florence allow us to admire the work made by Jacopo Pontormo for the grand apparatus of the ancient Funzione degli Omaggi. And just for this occasion, it is possible to approach the panels painted by Pontormo around 1514, proposed for the first time to the general public along with all the other jobs that over the centuries have characterized the Funzione degli Omaggi. For the full year, on Thursdays will have a reduced visiting hour, with closing scheduled at 14:00. Closed on 25th December.
