The festival events are free and open to the public. The unique location of this important cultural event are: Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Teatro Verdi or l’Altana delle Oblate.

Among the guests of the event here are some names: on Thursday, 6 June at 18, great expectations for the intervention of Dan Brown entitled “Il nostro bisogno di mistero” at the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio and at 21, with Alessandro Baricco in Piazza della Signoria for “Work in Progress”. On Friday, 7 June it continues with names like Carlo Petrini and Ermanno Olmi in the Sala dei Cinquecento at 12 pm, with “La Terra è un bene commune?”. On Saturday, 8 June at 21, Umberto Eco also comes to the Salone dei Cinquecento with “Da dove si comincia?”. It ends on Sunday, 9 June with Lorenzo Jovanotti in Piazza della Signoria at 18.
