A Van Gogh exhibition in Florence? Enjoy the “Van Gogh & the cursed ones” multimedia experience at the deconsecrated Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte until March 31st, 2019.
The multimedia exhibition on Vincent Van Gogh is the ideal opportunity to appreciate the works of the great artist. It is a digital story of 60 minutes, developed by means of multiprojection to 360 high definition image quality and the diffusion in Dolby HD of an exciting original soundtrack. Together with Van Gogh, the artists included in the exhibition are: Paul Cézanne (Aix-en-Provence 1839 – Aix-en-Provence 1906), Paul Gauguin (Paris 1848 – Hiva Oa 1903), Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (Albi 1864 – Saint-André-du-Bois 1901), Chaïm Soutine (Smiloviči 1893 – Paris 1942) and the Tuscan Amedeo Modigliani (Livorno 1884 – Paris 1920); in addition to these will also appear works by other contemporary artists who have contributed to the representation of the Paris of the time with their works.
An educational / introductory section with info graphics and monitors, the positions with the Oculus to experiment the 3D virtual reality of a sensorial journey inside some famous paintings and the enveloping kaleidoscope of images of the “hall of mirrors”, surely enrich the multimedia experience.
