Summer is arriving and you will have a wide choice on what to do in Florence in June. In fact, there is no better time to enjoy the city, especially in the open air, with its many cultural events, concerts and activities of all kinds.   • Amico Museo, throughout Tuscany, from May 20 to June 4: the museums open their doors to accommodate adults and children with guided tours, presentations of works, extraordinary exhibitions, workshops, animations
  • Il Mercatale di Firenze, piazza della Repubblica, 3 and 4 June;
  • Changing of the Guard, piazza della Signoria, 4 June;
  • ARTour, The beautiful in the square, piazza degli Strozzi (3-4 June), piazza del Carmine (17-18 June);
  • Travel Festival, various location, from the 7th to the 11st June;
  • Annual astronomical observation of the gnomon (astronomical instrument that allows measuring the position of the Sun) in the Duomo of Florence: between 12.30 and 13.30 on 9-12-21-27 June (in English) – the 28th June, during the Summer solstice, in the chapel of the Cross, to the left of the Altar Major you can observe the passage of the Sun through the Gnomon of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
