I’ll tell you something about me and the career path that brought me to the Brunelleschi. I was born in Naples and today I live in Pontassieve. I am graduated at the Formia Hospitality Institute. My professional path has always been done looking for the best, I have only worked in a 5-star luxury hotel.
I started my career during the school break in a hotel in San Felice Circeo as Commis. Then, when I was 15-16 years old, I went to Germany during the school break and it was an experience that taught me so much.
Then, the following year, I went to Gstaad Palace in Switzerland and I worked as Commis. It has been a memorable experience of which I still have beautiful memories.
It followed the experience in England, at first, in one of the best hotels in the world, The Connaught Hotel where I was lucky enough to meet Princess Diana.
Always in England, it followed an experience in a 5-star hotel, led by Gualtiero Marchesi.
After that experience I joined the Four Seasons chain that took me first to Milan and then to Tokyo in 2000. In Tokyo I stayed almost 6 years, during which I was lucky enough to open a famous restaurant with 3 Michelin stars “Antica Osteria del Ponte”.
In 2006 I moved to Tuscany and stayed there for 3 years as Maître Sommelier.
In 2010 I followed an important project in a 5-star hotel in Fiesole as a Restaurant Manager and stayed there for 4 years.
In 2014 I moved to Mallorca, where I worked for three seasons as a Restaurant Manager, until my wife showed me the desire to return to Tuscany and I missed it too … and here I am finally at the Brunelleschi!

My typical day in this extraordinary location starts in the morning, checking the progress of the breakfast, the booking schedule and the revenue of the day before.
I follow the lunch service alone or with my collaborators, depending on the day.
Meetings and briefings are never lacking. With the chef we always work as a team to understand how to constantly improve service standards.
Then I take care of many other tasks in order to offer the best possible service at the restaurant.
Today I would recommend the Brunelleschi to those who want to stay in close contact with the city, with the museums and those who have little time available, because it is really in the heart of the city. I could not think of a hotel more central to this. All the most important monuments are at your fingertips.
I would also recommend it to those who want to spend a quiet evening in one of our restaurants, the Santa Elisabetta or the Osteria Pagliazza, to try our tasty cuisine.
